ICYMI: Taylor Swift unveils dreamlike ‘Lavender Haze’ music video

  Taylor Swift has released the official music video for her song ‘Lavender Haze,’ one of the tracks from her tenth studio album ‘Midnights.’
  

  Her latest video premiered on Friday, January 27, just a day after she teased a new project to her followers on social media.

  The music video features Swift in a bedroom looking sad until she gets into a lavender haze. Flowers and a purple aura then surrounded her. Meanwhile, transgender model Laith Ashley portrayed as her love interest. She has stated that the song is about her relationship with boyfriend Joe Alwyn and her desire to be in a space that is free from outside noise.

  “There is lots of lavender. There is lots of haze. There is my incredible costar @laith_ashley who I absolutely adored working with,” Swift said of her music video on an Instagram post.

  “This was the first video I wrote out of the 3 that have been released,” she added. In fact, she also did for other track videos off ‘Bejeweled’ and ‘Anti-Hero.’

  “And this one really helped me conceptualize the world and mood of Midnights, like a sultry sleepless 70’s fever dream. Hope you like it 😁”

  Swift dropped Midnights last October 21, and a week later became the first act to occupy the entire top 10 of the Hot 100, Streaming Songs, and Digital Songs charts together.
