H.E.R. graces Vogue Philippines’ February issue cover, revisits Filipino roots

  • Shaira Luna took the musician’s photo at a field in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, where she could “reconnect with her origins,” according to Vogue Philippines. H.E.R. is dressed in a Randolf white bridegroom pantsuit on the cover. In additional images, she can be seen wearing an emerald-green ball gown by Al Rey Rosano, a blue pantsuit with white accents, and many other high-end outfits.

    H.E.R. expressed her excitement on Instagram; “Never thought I would be on the cover of vogue 🥺 the fact that it’s VOGUE PHILIPPINES means EVERYTHING TO ME 🇵🇭 I am so grateful and excited for this next chapter…. LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!

    The Grammy and Oscar-winning Filipina-American spoke on her growth and letting the world get to know the person behind the music in her cover story. “I feel like people know H.E.R. and they know the music, but it’s time for people to really get to know the person,” she quoted.

    Last year, the rising talent performed on stage with Lenny Kravitz, toured the world with Coldplay, and landed a part in an Oprah Winfrey-produced film. She also starred in the star-studded musical cast in the 30th anniversary TV special of the classic Disney movie as Belle.

    Alex Eala, a tennis player, and Chloe Magno, a Filipino-American model, are two more stunning women that appeared on the cover of Vogue Philippines.
