Stephen Speaks returns to Manila for mall tour and new music

  Along with the 20-year anniversary of his debut album, ‘No More Doubt,’ American acoustic pop-rock band Stephen Speaks is back in the Philippines for a week-long mall tour and new music.

  

  During his press conference on Saturday, February 11, Rockwell Ryan Ripperger surprised his fans that he will be performing at several malls — the first time in five years since the COVID-19 outbreak.

  Moreover, he introduced his new single ‘Tryin To Prove’ which will be released on Valentine’s Day. The said track will be his first with TJ McCloud who co-wrote ‘Passenger Seat.’

  

  “Tryin To Prove is realizing I thought I was done with this, but like who am I fooling? I’m trying to fool myself here, trying to convince myself I’m over this, but I’m not. I find inspiration mostly through my emotions. A little bit of what I see in other people, but mostly what I just go through personally,” he said.

  Furthermore, he is set to drop a “greatest hits” album on vinyl. The album will be released by a local independent label, Eikon Records, and will be available by October 2023.

  Along with the vinyl album’s release, Ripperger is also planning a concert that will be held later this year.
