OPM band Gracenote debuted “Tigil,” their newest song, at a special concert last Sunday, February 19, 2023, at East Deck, Robinson’s Metro East, where they also launched the song’s official music video. In addition to showing their support by attending, the crowd sang and danced along to the band’s performance. Bands like Hey June!, Better Days, and Mizael took part in their lone launch with them.

The song “Tigil,” which was written by Eunice Jorge, sings about how to end and leave a toxic relationship. She wants listeners to understand through the song that you don’t always have to stay in an unhappy relationship just because you don’t want to lose the person –as leaving becomes difficult when the relationship admittedly stood the test of time. When a relationship becomes too dysfunctional, it’s necessary to reflect on one’s value as an individual. Essentially, the song tells you to deserve to be happy and the sort of love that will make you even more in love with yourself, not the kind that will cause you to lose who you are.Their latest song was released following “Content Ako Sa’yo” – their third collaboration song with Chito Miranda of Parokya Ni Edgar and as a commemoration of their 15th anniversary.
