  On March 27, Monday, K-pop girl group Red Velvet announced tour dates for their upcoming show “Red Velvet 4th Concert: R to V”—and one of the dates included Manila! Their stop in the Philippines is scheduled for Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

  Kicking off the show on the first 2 days of April at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea – the five-piece collective is set to perform as well in Singapore, Yokohama, Bangkok, Jakarta, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, and London – as of writing.

  The Manila leg of the show is the girl group’s solo show in the country and fourth comeback 10 months later. They first performed in April 2015 at the “Best of the Best.” They last performed in July 2022.

  Comprised of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri – South Korea-based “Red Velvet” is a girl group signed under SM Entertainment. Established in August 2014, the girls broke the record as the first female K-pop artist to top the iTunes Top Albums chart in 44 countries with “The ReVe Festival: Finale.” They are best known for hit singles “Bad Boy,” “Psycho,” and “Russian Roulette” – to name a few.
