The EP seeks to send messages of self-awareness and foster a deeper understanding of themselves and the world.
More so, Dilaw bassist Wayne Dela Rosa chimed in, “There’s a desire and encouragement for us to connect with something larger than ourselves—and for us to take an active role in creating a more just and compassionate society.” The songs also tackle being genuine, amid society’s standards and expectations.
The band had its exclusive listening party and EP launch event last March 23rd, called “Dilaw Sessionz – Sansinukob EP Launch,” at the Balcony Music House in Poblacion, Makati. Alongside them were fellow OPM indie artists Noah Alejandre, YUN, and Munimuni.
