Additionally, “Wicked” uncovers the origin of the Wicked Witch’s iconic pointy hat.”
The original version (2003) of “Wicked” included Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth in the starring roles. Kristin Chenoweth played Glinda in the original 2003 musical, which was nominated for three Tony Awards. It continues to be one of Broadway’s best-known and longest-running productions.
The first installment of the movie “Wicked” is scheduled to hit theaters on November 27, 2024, whereas the second part is slated for release on December 25, 2025.
