NIKI announces first Manila solo concert, releases music video for ‘Backburner’

    Strolling down the boulevard, and dancing under streetlights – ‘cause NIKI is returning to Manila!

    On Monday, May 15 – Indonesian singer-songwriter NIKI is set to bring her “Nicole World Tour” to the Philippines on September 13, 2023 (Wednesday), at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

    She wrote in an Instagram caption, “CAT’S OUTTA THE BAG I GUESSSSSS can’t believe I’m finally saying this but we’re goin back on tour all over the world this year!!! u ask I deliver!!! North America, Asia & headlining Australia & Europe for the first time.” She added, “I’m SO stoked omg thank you for all your continued love and support, I cannot wait to see ur lovely faces again.

    The R&B artist is embarking on her Nicole World Tour this year, making stops in the United States, Europe, Australia, and Asia. The tour began in Mexico on May 13 and will continue for a few months until October 10.

    Alongside this announcement, NIKI released her music video for “Backburner” and her first live album, “Live at the Wiltern.”

    NIKI last visited the country in December 2022 for the Head in the Clouds Music Festival.

    Starting Thursday, May 18, tickets will be released for the September show; however, the prices for the Manila stop are yet to be disclosed.

    NIKI, born Nicole Zefanya in Indonesia, is an R&B singer-songwriter signed to the US-based record label 88rising. She is best known for her hits “lowkey,” “Every Summertime,” “Oceans & Engines,” “Backburner,” and “La La La Lost You,” to name a few.
