Rodrigo expressed that this new album is centered around the concept of growing pains and the journey of self-discovery during this phase of her life. More so, she described the period between the ages of 18 and 20 as intense, filled with awkwardness and change – resulting in personal growth. Rodrigo hopes that the album will authentically reflect this transformative experience.

Additionally, during her birthday, she teased her fans with a new beat in a video posted online, hinting at the abundance of new music she has been working on.
