According to the latest Nielsen Music data, Adele’s third album ’25’ has broke the record again after gaining 1.15 million sales in the United States in the week ending on December 24.
’25’ is the first album to sell a million copies in just two different weeks and the first to sell 3 million on its release week.
It’s the first album to have more than million albums sold in three different weeks, since Nielsen Soundscan started tracking album sales in 1991.
Today, Adele’s third album has already sold more than 7 million copies in the US.
’25’ is still at the number 1 spot on the Billboard 200 Chart in five consecutive weeks.
