Eagles guitarist Glenn Frey dies at 67

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and guitarist of 70’s rock band Eagles, Glenn Frey, died yesterday after a suffering complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia according to reuters.com.
Frey co-founded the Eagles in 1971 along with Don Henly, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner.
The Eagles were considered as the most successful rock bands of the 70’s, gaining multiple chart topping singles including the song ‘Hotel California’, co written by Frey in 1976.
Frey had been battling intestinal issues which later on was followed by arthritis and pneumonia that caused the band to postpone its Kennedy Center Honors.
“Words can neither describe our sorrow, nor our love and respect for all that he has given to us,” his family and fellow band members said.
Frey is survived by his wife, Cindy, and their three children.
