Elton John to collaborate with The Killers’ new album

  After releasing his latest EP ‘Wonderful Crazy Tonight’, John’s next project is to help The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers to write songs for their next album, according to ew.com.

  The collaboration was first hinted back in November when John invited Flowers on his Beats 1 radio show entitled ‘Rocket Hour’. During their chat, Flowers confessed that he’s a certified Elton John fan. He grew up listening to many of John’s records which influenced the band’s glam rock genre.

  “When Brandon makes a record, whether it’s for The Killers or on his own he comes and plays me the album.” John said during their conversation. “Usually I’m very happy and excited to hear it. And I usually play mine to him. So it’s like ‘I’ll show you mine if you show me yours!” John added.

  John is planning to fly to the band’s hometown in Las Vegas, Nevada to write for The Killers’ new album, which is a follow-up to their 2012’s Battle Born.
