A travel guide on where to go this Valentine’s Day

  • Valentine’s is just around the corner and as it gets closer, the pressure starts to build on where will you be spending that special day with your significant other.

    If you don’t have enough time to plan the perfect date, don’t worry, because there are a lot of places where you can bring your loved one and make that special even at the simplest things.

    Just want to sit back and relax? Have a movie date with your partner.

    Paco Park – a recreational garden in Belen, Paco, Manila that was once a cemetery built by the Dominicans, spooky right?  But if you’re planning to visit it, Paco Park Presents holds a mini concert every Friday at 6 o’clock in the evening.

    Ayala Triangle Gardens – an open courtyard in Makati filled with diverse trees and public art pieces made by some of the top artists in the country.

    Ayala Triangle Gardens is open from 6:00 A.M. – 10:00 P.M.

    UP Sunken Garden – Located in U.P. Diliman (obviously it’s UP), Quezon City. It is five-hectare field where you can have a picnic with your loved ones, fly a kite or just lie on its green grass.

    Friendly reminder: Don’t go here with your ‘bestfriend’ (if that’s what you call her/him) because there are tales that many have been ‘friendzoned’ in this place.

    Quezon Memorial Park – considered as one of the best parks to visit in the country because it offers a range of fun activities like renting a bike and riding a swan boat which surely you and your partner will enjoy.

    A note to lovers: ‘MoMol’ (Make Out Make Out Lang) or kissing is strictly not allowed in the park.

    If you and your significant other is a certified foodie, you can visit Maginhawa Street in Quezon City. It offers a wide selection of food that will satisfy your eager taste buds. Here are some:
