4 Reasons Why You Will Love Breakfast Dates

  Breakfast may not be appealing for couples to be a perfect time to date, but they didn’t know they’re missing a lot if they won’t give it a try.

  1. Because it can make your day

  Waking up with your favorite person next to you is the best thing. And having breakfast with him or her is the next best thing.

  Mornings are the very moments where we are so empty. Meaning, we haven’t done any work, we’re not yet fully stressing our minds, and the time when you decide what will your mood for the day be.

  Grabbing the most important meal of the day with the person you love can be a good jump start; especially if you’re heading to the office after. The good vibes in you can radiate and be passed on to your office mates.

  May it be a quick coffee and pastry, or a heavy meal, or just a cup of taho while you’re on your way to the terminal, cherish it. It’s not every day that you get a chance to grab breakfast with the person you love. Be grateful of mornings because it’s a sign of a brand new life.

  2. Because it feels good to be raw to someone

  Whether you’re wearing your favorite pajamas, or your hair is tangled, or your eyes are chinky, and even if you have morning glory all over your face, it really feels good to be loved at your most raw version. You can only see that in the morning.

  Even your I-was-not-thinking-when-I-said-that kind of opinions and feelings can come out in the morning. Talk about work, life, future plans, over coffee and 20 pesos worth of pandesal.

  Remember if your partner can’t stand your appearance in the morning, even your not-so-fresh breath, don’t waste your time. He or she is not the one.

  3. Because it’s cheap

  You don’t really get to spend much on breakfasts because the choice is limited. Unless you choose to eat on a breakfast buffet. Morning eats are cheap and can be sincere. Because instead of going out or pay for delivery, you can just cook and do it with love. Efforts are much appreciated.

  4. Because you don’t expect anything after

  If you’re going straight to work, most probably no one will expect that something will happen after. And maybe, just maybe, getting under the sheets after a meal in day light is not really a good idea.
