  One day you’ll wake up so far away from pain that it doesn’t make you cry anymore. One day you’ll find yourself braving everyday with a tough heart and a wise head.   In every separation, in every fight, whether it’s ­your fault or not, there will always be two people who got hurt.

  When you get the chance to talk to the person who broke your heart, you’ll also get the chance to know that it wasn’t you aching and crying all along. You’ll know how broken that person was when you left, how damaged he was when you gave up, and how sorry he was when you cried. It was not only you.

He’s still scrolling up and down your Twitter and Instagram to get updates from you. And if you’re living your life after it, know that he’s happy.

  3. HE KNOWS YOU DESERVE BETTER THAN HIM.

  Maybe you won’t hear it straight from him but he knows this. He knows that some time in your relationship he was a douche bag and you don’t deserve it. You won’t hear him say he’s better than that guy who asked for your number or that guy your cousins introduced to you because it hurts his ego. But at the back of his head, he knows that you don’t deserve him.

  One day, you’ll get to talk about this with a healed heart. You’ll be surprised how he knows this well–very well.

  4. HE REMEMBERS DETAILS.

  Yes, he does. The first time you went out. When he said he likes you. He remembers your first fight. He remembers the first time you held hands and the things that came before it. He knows how old you were when you first met. He knows every little thing about you and keeps them in his heart. He might be that guy who does not pay attention but just so you know, he remember details as much as you do. And if you’ll get the chance to ask him how he felt, be surprised because he still remembers.
