Common Reasons Why She Thinks She’s Single

  If you think a single woman never asked herself why she’s still single, you’re so wrong on that part. She, herself, is trying so hard to give this world an answer on why she’s still alone on this era where people have formed the concept of forever.

  So most of the time we hear her say…

  “I’M SINGLE BECAUSE I’M NOT YET READY.”

   No one’s really ready until they get there. With the standards of the society when it comes to relationships, women feel unprepared for men. Women feel that they can’t be the woman that he needs.

  “I’M SINGLE BECAUSE I’M STILL YOUNG.”

  This might be true. The generation of yuppies today are so purpose-driven that they grind hard to have a good life ahead of them. They believe that relationship follows if you have a successful career. However, this statement will expire sooner or later. It only gives her temporary comfort. But at the back of her mind, she’s worried because she might get used to it.

  “I’M SINGLE BECAUSE I’M FAT.”

  We are in a society where we joke about flaws and has somehow forgotten about feelings. Women who are large in size are becoming laughing stocks and we are unaware that if it comes from a man the hurt doubles.

  Women feel more insulted whenever a man tells it straight to her face that she’s big. It makes her feel that she’s not worthy of love because of her size. It makes her feel that size matters when it comes to love. It makes her sad and forces herself to be the person she is not. It makes her think that love is only for those who are size 8 and below.

  Everyone, whether men or women, are accountable on this thoughts.

  “I’M SINGLE BECAUSE I’M NOT PRETTY.”

  Just like being fat, women think that her beauty is not enough to please a man. She thinks that she has to do some extra effort just to be loved and to gain attention.

  She has this thought that she’s still single because her complexion must be fair, so she uses glutathione. She thinks her teeth must not be crooked, she puts braces on even if it hurts her so much. She thinks she’s too plain and pale, she puts on makeup.

  She has this thought that she’s not enough.

  “I’M SINGLE BECAUSE I’M TOO STRONG.”

  We heard this most of the time from alpha women. They think that their strength is their weakness when it comes to love. So they try hard to be soft, to be dependent, to be the woman that they’re really not.

  Being strong is everything that she has and just because she thinks she’s too much she can’t be loved.
