Most of us think that traveling means costing you a fortune. But you shouldn’t really need to save for centuries to have the time of your life because traveling doesn’t always have to be that fancy.
Here are 5 tips when traveling on a tight budget.
Plan ahead
Traveling means learning but it is way better if you’re well informed and prepared. Always do your research about the destination you’re heading. An effective itinerary never goes wrong and you could always look for alternatives. Planning your travel ahead will give you a heads up on how much budget you’ll be needing for your trip.
Be aware of sale and discounts

Ticket and seat sales makes a whole new difference for your budget and makes every traveler go crazy. Imagine how much of your budget you’ll save if you are able to get ticket and seat sales.
The more, the merrier!

As the old saying goes, the more, the merrier! It’s always nice to travel when you’re with your best of friends. It is not only fun, but it will help you with your budget, especially on transportation, accommodation and food. You can have someone to share all your expenses with. Plus, it is always fun when the squad is complete.
Learn to haggle
Master the art of bargaining. After all, “wala nang tawad?” is a line we often hear from Filipinos. Don’t be afraid to ask for discounts, because you won’t get some if you’ll not ask for it.
Enjoy

What’s the purpose of your trip? Of course, to get away from everything for once in a while and have the time of your life. At the end of the day, your happiness is what will matter the most because when you look back, it’s not about how much you’ve spent, it’s all about the terrific experiences you’ve encountered. That’s the one and only rule when traveling, just enjoy everything.
