Selena Gomez, Charlie Puth, Fifth Harmony and Cassadee Pope pay tribute to Christina Grimmie

• Pop singers Selena Gomez and Charlie Puth, R&B quintet Fifth Harmony and country singer Cassadee Pope paid tribute to singer Christina Grimmie on their respective shows.

  According to Billboard.com, Selena broke down in tears while performing her song ‘Nobody’ at her concert in Miami. The Pop singer also dedicated a moving version of Hillsong Worship’s ‘Transfiguration’ in Grimmie’s memory.

  Pop singer Charlie Puth expressed his grief on Grimmie’s passing by dedicating his hit ‘See You Again’ during his performance in WBLI Summer Jam. “I was reading the news last night and heard that my good friend Christina Grimmie was killed, and I want to dedicate this song to her tonight,” Puth said.

  

  Puth and Grimmie both begin their careers uploading songs on Youtube.

  Fifth Harmony honored the late Christina Grimmie with a moment of silence at the WBLI Summer Jam in Wantagh, New York.

  “Such a beautiful soul, such a beautiful talent,” Fifth Harmony member Normani Kordei told the crowd. “From the moment that we met she was always nice to us. So humble. We love you and we are praying for your family. And we know you are smiling down from above. Let’s all bow our heads down. Chrstina Grimmie.” Kordei added.

  Country singer Cassadee Pope performed her hit duet with Chris Young ‘Think of You’ at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville. During an interview with the media before Pope’s act, she said of Grimmie, “I’m performing on her behalf tonight.”

  

  Christina Grimmie, 22, a YouTube star who placed third on the sixth season of The Voice was shot and killed by 27-year-old Kevin James Loibl at the Plaza Live, Orlando on June 10 after her opening performance for the band, Before You Exit.
