The number one radio station at work and on the road, Easy Rock is now on Spotify after Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) landed an exclusive partnership with the world’s largest music streaming platform.
The aim of the partnership is to boost the local entertainment experience in the country and allow the radio jocks to connect with their avid listeners in a more meaningful way.
“We’re excited to be launching this partnership with Manila Broadcasting Company in the Philippines as we further strengthen expert curation and discovery which is core to the Spotify experience,” said Michael Richardson, Head of Business Development, Spotify, APAC.
“Radio remains the number one music discovery platform in the Philippines,” affirmed MBC President Ruperto Nicdao, Jr. “Spotify as the most popular music streaming platform, recognizes the big influence of radio and its personalities on listening habits of the public. Contrary to what many believe, we are not competing with the application, but are complementary to each other.” He added.
Head over to Spotify today and enjoy curated playlists made by your favorite Easy Rock jocks. Fans can also listen to the station’s ‘Classic Hits’ and ‘Hit List’.
