5 Things To Consider For A “Very” Private Relationship

  • Hiding a secret relationship from your family, your friends? Or maybe you just want to have a private relationship. Here’s a few tips to help you keep your relationship on the “down-low” and away from prying eyes.

    “Best friend” card

When your “strict” parents have no idea you’re in a relationship because they won’t even let you have one yet.

They start noticing that you spend more time with your partner than at home with them and they ask who this person is to you. Easiest answer, he’s your best friend. Just give them bits of parent-friendly information about him, even introduce him at least once and maybe, they’ll let you go out  with him more.

    Loading and Unloading Zone

Designate a certain spot or meeting place whenever he comes to drop you off or pick you up.

Make sure this area is away from anyone who might know you. Look around before going in and out his car. Wear something to cover up like a jacket or a cap. If it so happens that you get caught in the act, say you rode one of those carpool services.

    Private Gallery

Keep photos from your dates, or maybe even some kinky videos of you two, in a private gallery.

Download apps that requires a pass code lock for your gallery. Create a hidden folder on your laptop or desktop and import them there. Or just avoid taking them to begin with. It’s evidence. Do whatever it takes just to keep them all away.

    Codenames

Ditch the usual, “Baby” “Babe” “Bebe ko” “Bae”!

Avoid using obvious terms of endearment when you text or call each other. Try using code names or just use his actual name when around other people so avoid them giving meaning to the conversation.

    Anti-PDA

Displaying your affection with each is a no-no.

This means no HHWW (holding hands while walking), MOMOL-ing (making out) and even changing your status from “single” to whatever you guys are. It’s to keep some distance between you two around public areas. That’s what his car is for *wink wink*

But of course despite having to keep your relationship hidden, do not forget you value your partner. Show your partner that you care, that you love them in your own time. Make sure they are comfortable with the situation before following these tips. Remember in a private relationship, the more private the relationship is, the intimate it gets. Maybe eventually, you’ll be able to come out with your relationship when the right time comes.
