Ogie Alcasid releases new album ‘Ikaw Ang Buhay Ko’

  Award-winning singer/songwriter Ogie Alcasid releases new album ‘Ikaw Ang Buhay Ko’, dedicated to her wife, the Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.

  ‘Ikaw Ang Buhay Ko’ is my declaration that indeed my wife is my life,” Ogie Alcasid said as he announced its release after four years under Universal Records.

  The new album features ten love songs including five new original compositions taking inspirations from his wife. “I wrote five songs in the album and all of which were inspired by my wife as we celebrate our 5th anniversary.”

  The other five songs in the album includes remakes of famous Filipino wedding songs ‘Hawak Kamay’, ‘Hanggang’, ‘Tanging Yaman’, ‘Iingatan Ka’ and ‘Pag-ibig’.

  Every song on the album is a positive expression of love that anyone who feels love or has felt love surely relate to as Ogie shared, “There is no room for pain in this album—all joy and bliss.”
