ICYMI: How Beyoncé stole this year’s VMAs

  Beyoncé dominated MTV’s Video Music Awards 2016 after her 15 minute medley performance of her album ‘Lemonade’ and taking home eight awards, including the top award – video of the year according to Vox.

  The Queen opened up her powerful performance with ‘Pray You Catch Me’, then transitioned to ‘Hold Up’ and ‘Sorry’ which showcased the snarling side of the pop star. She ended her act with ‘Formation’ where she was met by a standing ovation.

  Aside from her staggering performance, Beyoncé took home eight awards, including the top award, Video of the Year.
