‘Stone Cold’ singer Demi Lovato has announced on Twitter that she plans to take a break from the music industry in 2017 according to Billboard.
Earlier on Tuesday, the singer sent out a series of tweets regarding her controversial interview with Glamour, in which she dissed Taylor Swift and her squad for tearing Katy Perry down with the song ‘Bad Blood’.
She then wrote how excited she is for the new year, adding, “I am not meant for this business and the media.”

Lovato isn’t the only pop star who took a leave of absence. Fellow Disney alum Selena Gomez recently announced her temporary exit from music due to lupus-related anxiety.
