WATCH: Paul McCartney performs ‘Why Don’t We Do It in the Road?’ Live with Neil Young

  In the middle of Paul McCartney’s set at Desert Trip last Saturday, he called Neil Young onstage to perform Beatles hits ‘A Day In The Life’ and ‘Why Don’t We Do It in the Road’, live for the first time according to the Rolling Stone.

  McCartney introduced Young as “a really good friend of ours that I’ve known through the years”.

  McCartney and Young performed a mashup of ‘A Day In The Life’ and John Lennon’s song ‘Give Peace A Chance’.

  The highlight of their performance was the live debut of their track ‘Why Don’t We Do It in the Road?’ with McCartney enticed Young to play for the guitar solo.
