My Unsent Letter: From Travel Buddy to Travel Sponsor

  First and foremost, I would like to thank you for opening your doors for me. I enjoyed the days when we were together and I had fun, really. All the stories we had exchanged, the giggles we shared were surely worth keeping. It was short, but one hell of a ride.

  Since the day you left me, I lost everything. Myself, my friends and even my savings. Our affair didn’t last that good. We had a 3 day ‘love story’.

  The day you asked me to join you in your trip to Bataan, I said YES without any hesitation and doubts because I really (really, really, really) like you since the day you’ve entered our office premises.

  I was too excited that it came to the point that I overpacked. I was prepared for everything that  we might do. But there is one thing I was not prepared for, wonder what it was?

  I wasn’t financially prepared because I didn’t know that 3/4 of the total expenses was on me.

  Thank you so much for having me on your trip as your ‘budget partner’. Kulang na nga lang sabihin mo sa akin na, “libre mo na ‘tong travel natin ‘di ba?”.

  I must say, your skin is thick as brick. You’ve asked me to join your trip, so you can have someone to accompany you and let you save money as well.

  Thank you ha? Akala ko gusto mo talaga akong kasama, ‘yun pala kaya mo ako sinama para makatipid ka.
