“Best Friends” Do Not Betray

  Hi, DJ Chloe!

  Good morning po. You can call me, AJ. I and my boyfriend were together for two years and nine months and it’s almost six months since our formal break up. I said “formal” because we still meet and talk even after the break up like we were still together. But not recently. He sent me an SMS twice or thrice a month I guess. But nagulat na lang ako, DJ Chloe, nu’ng one time na mahuli ko sila ng best friend ko magkasama! Oo, magkasama sila habang magka away kami ng ex ko. ‘Di po ako makapaniwala. Nagflash back sa’kin ‘yung time na pinapayuhan ako ng best friend ko na tama na daw, itigil ko na daw kung sobra na ako nasasaktan sa ex ko. I find comfort to her. Lahat nasabi ko sa kanya. Hindi ko namalayan sa sobrang tiwala ko, kaya niya pala ginagawa ‘yun may gusto siya sa ex ko.

  May gusto na habang wala ako at busy sa career ko busy rin siya sa ex ko until unti-unting nararamdaman kong may mali. Lingid sa kaalaman nila na dalawang beses ko na rin silang nakita na masayang-masayang magkasama to the point na dun sa huling beses sinundan ko na talaga silang dalawa. Sobrang sakit po, DJ Chloe. Ang sakit sa feeling na ‘yung dalawang taong pinagkakatiwalaan mo sabay na magtataksil sa’yo. But karma is real nga po. And now po nakikipagbalikan ulit ang ex ko. And ‘yung best friend to be called ko for a couple of years todo reach out kasi pinagsisihan daw niya ang nangyari. Gusto niya bumalik kami sa dati, to the point na nilalakad pa niya sa’kin ang ex ko na kesho mahal pa daw ako. ‘Di ko pa din po kayang harapin sa ngayon bes tfriend ko. And sa ex ko naman, opo, aminado akong mahal ko pa talaga ang siya. Ano po bang kailangan kong gawin? Naguguluhan pa rin po kasi ako, DJ Chloe, hanggang ngayon. Salamat po.

  What can I say? Get them both out of your system. Your best friend is not the only person in this world you can be friends with. You don’t need a snake. :) And your ex? Sus, so many fish in the ocean, my dear! Now, since you just lost the two closest people in your life outside your own family, it’s safe to assume you’re on the market for a new BFF and boyfriend. Or maybe not a new boyfriend muna. But a new BFF. So, get out there and create a new inner circle. But this time, make sure you REALLY screen these people! Life’s too short to hold grudges, right? When the smoke finally clears, you can at least forgive them. But!!!  That doesn’t mean you have to invite them over for cake and coffee. Unless may purga! Joke! Hahaha, chill. You’re lucky you found out about it. Show them it doesn’t affect you at all.
