  Hello DJ Chloe,

  Sorry if you have to receive such message. I’m in a state of “I LOVE MY JOB BUT I HATE MY BOSS.” He is so controlling. I felt useless in my job and I can’t find my purpose anymore. I can’t satisfy him. Sometimes I just went to work for money. I’m at rock bottom now. Just want to regain my confidence and slap to his face that I’m better than what you think. I’m in a good company naman and the compensation is good but exhaustion and emotional torture is real.

  If you have kids, you have a family, well you have to hang on, kasi pag may mga anak ka na hindi pwdeng mapaghimagsik pagdating sa trabaho.

  There were moments in my job/career that I also felt so unappreciated and that I felt no one wants to work with me, and that I wasn’t doing the right thing. May mga tao din na mahirap katrabaho sa opisina, but you just have to hang on. I have mouths to feed and kids that I need to send to school.

  There is definitely a weakness that you can find sa boss mo, try mong hanapin and dagdagan ang pakikisama. If you can’t satisfy him then ask him how he want things done, para pagsumablay ka, at least siya ang nagturo at sinunod mo siya.

  As long as hindi ka minumura, and he doesn’t say things that would make you feel less of a person, then learn the art of not giving a hoot. Basta’t alam mong ginagawa mo ang trabaho mo ng maayos. May mga ganyan talaga, micro managers, mema lang. Isa lang rule ko dyan, never outshine the master.

  Baka naman masyado mo ginagalingan kaya naiinsecure?

  Now, if you’re single and you’re marketable, find another job.

  But what if meron na namang dragon dun? Aalis ka na naman? Learn to thrive and survive, dear. Mahirap maghanap ng trabaho ngayon na maayos ang compensation.

  But if it’s really torturing you to be working there and for that boss of yours, then get out and find a new one. Your mental health is much more important.
