Your Facebook Friends Might Not Be Your Real-Life Friends

  Hi, DJ Chloe!

  Just wanna share my story and hoping na rin to get some advice from you. I added someone on Facebook kasi based sa timeline niya, sa mga posts niya, nagustuhan ko na siya. He confirmed my friend request naman and then nagkachat na kami. After a day, sinabi ko sa kanya na crush ko siya. Inaya niya na akong makipagkita. Ako naman ‘tong si loka, pumayag. The meeting was awkward at first pero magaan ang loob namin sa isa’t isa, that was a Saturday afternoon. Inihatid niya naman ako sa sakayan pauwi after our “date”. Came Sunday, he insisted that he wanted to see me again, kaya pinapunta ko siya sa apartment ko. Mag-isa lang ako ngayon sa apartment, temptation was high nu’ng kami lang ang nasa isang room. Pero walang nangyari. I felt respected. And now, inaaya niya na kong pumunta sa bahay nila para ipakilala sa mother niya.

  Gusto ka lang ipakilala sa nanay seryoso na? Parang you never mentioned na nililigawan ka niya or in some ways eh nagpapahaging siya na gusto niya kayong maging item. Nagsabi ba siya na manliligaw siya? You added him and became friends with him basing on your judgment on his Facebook timeline. Do you think that’s enough? You know, Facebook is a very good avenue for people to showcase themselves well. Iba ang status sa Facebook sa totoong tao na nagpopost nito. ‘Di nae-edit basta-basta ang ugali. Your place is safer, much safer place lalo if yuo have CCTV’s at home. But do you know that most people who get killed eh kilala nila ang attacker nila dahil pinapasok nila sa bahay nila? Morbid, yes, but it only takes one psycho to change or end your life forever. I suggest kilalanin mo muna ‘tong kaibiganin mo before you even think of deciding to meet the parents. Kilala mo na ba ‘to? In the real sense of the word? #CheckMoMuna
