  Hi DJ Chloe,

  Medyo matagal na po since the last time I wrote you a letter. Both of my letters were featured in your show, sana ito rin po so I can get advice from you and listeners as well.

  I am a graduate from one of the top universities in the country and I am working in a famous company. I have a high paying job and a secure position. The problem is, my boyfriend is a pedicab driver. He is a high school dropout and medyo mahina ang utak. But I love him although five months pa lang kami and my friends thought that I just settled na lang daw kasi hindi pa ako nagkakaboyfriend ever since I felt na he is the one na for me.

  Hindi nya naman ako pineperahan, honest siya sa’kin as far as I know and I feel na mahal na mahal niya ako.
  My question is, do I need to get affected with what my friends say? Sabi nila hanap na lang ako ng iba, pero parang ayoko na ng iba, siya lang ang gusto ko. Although wala namang ibang pamimilian.

  Naguguluhan ako DJ Chloe, hindi ko alam na if may iba ba akong option I would choose the better one ba or talagang mahal ko talaga si boyfriend ko ngayon. Can you enlighten me, DJ Chloe. Thank you and more power to your show.

  Well, Miss J, you’re head over heels inlove with him.J

  Wala namang masama sa pagiging pedicab driver, marangal na trabaho lang ‘yun, nakakatulong naman sila sa mga commuter although minsan nakakasagabal sila pag lumalabas na ng national roads or main roads, I mean.

  If your mind can’t be changed about him, then inspire him to at least get a vocational course, tulungan mo siya. Baka may talent siya, carpentry or whatever. Just inspire him to aspire kasi, alam mo baka mangyari niyan umasa sa’yo.

  Maaring ‘di ka niya pineperahan, pero may mga lalaki na nagiging kampante lalo’t nakikitang kayang-kaya mo.

  May mga times lang na maaring hindi mo siya maihaharap sa ibang tao, lalo na sa mundo, sabi mo nga you belong in a famous company, hindi ko po siya nilalait, ok? I am being realistic.

  Another thing, baka magsawa ka kaka-explain sa kanya ng mga bagay at mabore ka lalo’t d’i mo nakaka usap sa ibang level ng usapan, if you know what I mean. You know, “intellectual intercourse.”

  Don’t rush, take your time. If siya ang para sa’yo, then magiging kayo nga.
