Our Story Is Over

  Dear DJ Chloe,

  May dati akong kalive-in. Nagkaanak ako sa kanya ng isang girl at boy. Naghiwalay kami dahil sa pag-uugali niya dati. Ilang taon din kami ‘di nagkita at walang communication. Nakakita siya ng girl na magtatakip sa pangungulila niya sa akin. Nagkaanak sila ng isang baby girl. To make the story short, nagkita kami ulit. Mahal pa namin ang isa’t-isa. Pero may pamilya na siyang iba. Sabi niya kahit na may ibang pamilya na siya ako pa rin ang mahal niya. Nagdesisyon na siyang iwanan ‘yung babae para magsama na kami ulit. Pero nang nagkausap ulit kami pinili niya ‘yung isa. Sobrang sakit kasi pakiramdam ko parang pinaasa niya ako.

  Paki advice niyo po ako kung anong gagawin ko.

  Dear Ms. Aquarius,

  You made it sound so simple. You were with him, bore his kids, left him because of indifferences. Years you didn’t see each other and then one day you bumped into each other and your eyes met and then realized that you’re still in love with each other.

  But the thing is he is now with someone. Nandamay pa kayo ng iba, ano? When you could have just opted to make it work between the two of you.

  Now you want him back but he is with someone else and decided to choose the other and not you. Painful? Super. Just like what you’ve caused him when you left.

  I’m not blaming you for leaving maybe it was the best decision you can make at that time. Pero sana pinanindigan mo na. Wala ng balikan. Dogs are the only ones who eat what they’ve already thrown up.

  You had your time and you put a period to it, right? Now let him be with the woman of his choice.

  As to the kids, they remain to be his children. They have the right to see him and to be a father to him that’s all.
