Maroon 5’s frontman Adam Levine has already issued an apology for group’s performance in the major music festival of Chile.
According to the Chilean news agency, Chilevisión Noticias, Maroon 5 arrived 30 minutes late to the Viña del Mar International Song Festival, Thursday, February 27. And after the 15-song set, the group trended on Twitter because of viewers who are criticizing Levine for his “cold, reluctant and preoccupied” performance onstage.
Maroon 5 issued a statement saying that the band had encountered numerous technical difficulties during the performance, admitting that Levine has struggled much on stage.
“It impacted how I was behaving onstage, which is unprofessional and I apologize for that. I struggled a lot and sometimes it’s really hard for me to mask the struggle and for that I did let you guys down and I apologize. We absolutely adore our Chilean fans, we absolutely love coming here. Last night, it wasn’t our best and for that all I can say is that I’m really sorry,” Levine said.
