Alanis Morissette cancels two-day concert in Manila

  Singer Alanis Morisette has announced that her upcoming “Jagged Little Pill” concert in Manila has been cancelled.

  The singer posted the announcement on her official Facebook page:

  “To my friends in Philippines, I am crestfallen to announce that the upcoming Jagged Little Pill Anniversary tour dates have been cancelled (i am framing it to myself that i am postponing for another time).”

  Concert promoter Ovation Productions said in a Facebook post that the singer’s November 18 and 19 concert legs at the Mall of Asia arena will no longer push through “due to scheduling issues and to the unprecedented logistical challenges of global touring in 2022.” Ovation Productions added that all purchased tickets will receive a full refund.

  The ‘Ironic’ singer was originally set for a concert in Manila on 2020 and 2021 but was rescheduled twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  Alanis Morisette last performed in the country in 1996. Some of her hit songs include ‘Ironic,’ ‘Hand In My Pocket,’ and ‘You Oughta Know.’
