Sending a message of love and hope amidst the COVID-19 threat, Andrea Bocelli is inviting the whole world to pray with him on Easter Sunday at his solo performance to be done at the Duomo Cathedral of Milan in Italy.
“I will go there to pray, and I’d like to think that everyone listening to me sing can pray with me,” he said. But he also clarified that “Also, it’s not a performance. It’s not a concert. It’s only a prayer.”
The prayer concert of Bocelli is entitled “Andrea Bocelli: Music for Hope.” It will be done inside the empty cathedral to comply with the orders of Italian government on physical distancing and avoidance to mass gatherings.
This will be exclusively streamed globally through Andrea Bocelli’s YouTube channel.
