Ariana Grande becomes the most-followed woman on Instagram

  After series of ranking up top spots, Ariana Grande surpasses Selena Gomez as the most-followed woman on Instagram according to Billboard.

  Selena Gomez previously held the title with 146,267,801 followers but just last October, soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo took the title from the singer with 144,320,476 followers.

  Ronaldo held the title for almost 5 months and now Ariana Grande surpassed his record after having 146.4 million followers making her the new “Queen of Instagram.”

  Grande gained 13 million new Instagram followers in the last four months and maintained a hyperactive presence on the platform.
