Avril Lavigne announces new date of Manila concert

  The Canadian-French singer Avril Lavigne has announced the new date of her Manila concert in 2022, May 14, Friday.

  Lavigne, through Wilbros Live, declared that the concert entitled ‘Avril Lavigne Live in Manila’ is moved to May 2, 2022. “We apologize for the wait and we hope to see you all at Avril Lavigne’s concert next year. Thank you for your patience and continued support!” Wilbros Live said in a statement.

  The organizers also reminded the ticket holders to keep their concert tickets as they remain valid until the new date of the show. They also have the option to refund those until May 30, 2021.

  Avril Lavigne has cancelled her Asian tour due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Her Manila visit was originally slated last May 20, 2020. “Please, everybody take care of yourselves and stay healthy. You’re in my thoughts and prayers and we are hoping to announce rescheduled shows soon,” she said.
