  The folk pop band Ben&Ben has announced their collaboration with the indie folk band Munimuni, August 9, Monday.

  To nail the collaboration, an upcoming single, entitled ‘Sugat,’ will be released on the midnight of Friday, August 13.

  On their social media accounts, the nine-piece band posted a teaser poster of the upcoming track. It was seen with a vase and a dried plant and a low opaqued broken vase with the title ‘Sugat.’ In the caption, the group wrote ‘it is a song about healing.’

  Munimuni made popular in the OPM scene because of their new genre called, the ‘makata pop.’ The group is composed of Adj Jiao on guitar and vocals, John Owen Castro on flute and vocals, Jolo Ferrer on bass, and Josh Tumaliuan on drums. In June 2021, Munimuni had just returned from an eight-month-long hiatus.
