Ben&Ben to hold online event for COVID-19 efforts

• Ben&Ben has announced on Sunday that the band will be holding an online concert to help raise funds for COVID-19 efforts.

  The concert entitled “Puhon!” will be streamed on their Facebook page on Friday night at 7:00 PM.

  The folk band’s beneficiaries will be the University of the Philippines-Manila National Institutes of Health, Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, One Nation Against COVID-19 Project, CDO COVID Donation Drive and PantawidCovid Project specifically for the personal protective equipment for health workers, testing kits and relief goods for daily wage workers. The band provided a link where fans and viewers can donate their monetary assistance to the cause.

  For this cause, Ben&Ben will be partnering with Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI), Limitless Lab and the Asian Institute of Management – Team Energy Center For Bridging Leadership.

  “As artists, we believe that in a crisis like this we are called to do what we can to help — may it be by sending messages of hope, making efforts in raising funds for this crisis, or others,” said Ben&Ben.
