Ben&Ben wins ‘Best Asian Band’ at BandLab NME Awards 2022

  The folk-pop band Ben&Ben has been hailed as Best Band of Asia at the 2022 BandLab NME Awards, January 19, Wednesday.

  Aside from the nine-piece OPM band, artist from Asia also bagged several awards. Singaporean band Subsonic Eye won Best Album by an Asian Artist with ‘Nature of Things.’ 88rising’s Warren Hue won Best Song by an Asian Artist with his ‘omomo punk.’

  The band took social media to announce the award. Recently, they also announced their upcoming first in-person concert of 2022 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

  In December 2021, Spotify declared Ben&Ben as the most streamed Filipino artist in the platform. They have staged their first major concert, ‘Kuwaderno’ in the same month.
