Ben&Ben’s Paolo Banjamin calls for DOH Secretary’s resignation anew

  Paolo Benjamin Guico, one of the frontmen of the the nine-piece act Ben&Ben, has slammed Department of Health secretary Francisco Duque III and called for his resignation anew, July 27, Monday.

  Just hours before the State of the Nation Address of President Rodrigo Duterte, Guico took swipe on Twitter to address what for him the incompetence of the government in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

  “#SONA2020 Duque, resign. For the sake of our people. For the sake of our tired health workers. Five months of incompetence is enough. Again, numbers do not lie.” He wrote.

  On June 5, despite criticisms and bashing, Guico also called for Duque’s resignation after blaming staff over delayed distribution of cash assistance to the families of frontliners succumed to COVID-19.
