Ben&Ben’s Paolo Benjamin lambasts criticisms on ‘Duque resign’ remark

  One of Ben&Ben’s frontman, Paolo Benjamin Guico had blasted a commenter of his resign remark to Health Secretary Francisco Duque III.

  A netizen named “Vladimir Costales” questioned credibility and contribution of Guico amid the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines. Guico took a screenshot of the comment and in a tweet, he listed his credentials including their PhP 4 million funding raised through a concert for COVID-19 response.

  “EVERYONE can be of service. EVERYONE should be able to speak freely,” Guico added.

  On the other hand, Guico had gained support from fans on Twitter. His counter tweet has 62,500 likes and 8,100 retweets.

  Guico expressed dismay to Sec. Duque over blame game against his team in the health department about the cash assistance for the families of frontliners who have died because of COVID-19. He told Duque to resign.

  Duque, please resign. Wag mong isisi ang iyong kapalpakan sa mga taong nagbubuwis-buhay para sa bayan. The country badly needs strong leadership in the DOH.
