Ben&Ben’s Paolo Benjamin reveals another single, story behind it

  The nine-piece act Ben&Ben has revealed another single that they are releasing entitled, ‘Magpahinga,’ May 12, Wednesday.

  Ben&Ben has shared a one-minute snippet video of the song on TikTok and later shared on their social media accounts. “Kulang pa yatang bente kwatro oras sa’kin, sa mga problema kong mas marami pa sa mga bituin. Ayoko namang magpatalo pero bakit parang ubos na ubos na ako? Ang sabi mo, ‘Dito ka lang sa’kin, magpahinga muna.’ Lalabanan din mga dambuhalang ‘di maubos na problema. Malapit na pero ‘di rin kasalanang magpahinga” Paolo Benjamin sang in the video.

  Last night, Paolo Benjamin also shared the story behind the upcoming single. “The new song we’re releasing, “Magpahinga,” was written when our sister got COVID-19 more than a month ago. It was one of the toughest times for our family. In the middle of these dark days, in the middle of these battles we silently fight, may we remember that it’s okay to rest,” he tweeted.

  Her sister recovered, he shared, but he told fans that not all people are fortunate. “Thankfully our sister recovered, but there are so many out there who aren’t as fortunate, and many likewise are enduring the heaviest of days right now. This song is for all of you. Magpahinga ka muna,” Paolo Benjamin concluded.

  On Friday, May 7, Ben&Ben had just released their newest single entitled, ‘Upuan.’ With the schedule with cryptic emojis they shared, there are more to come on their recent comeback.
