Beyonce hits first no. 1 in 9 years with Ed Sheeran ‘Perfect’ collab

  After 9 years of drought, Queen B hit her first no. 1 in 9 years with her ‘Perfect’ collaboration with Ed Sheeran according to MTV.

  Believe it or not, Beyoncé has not reached the top spot despite releasing three chart-topping albums in the past decades. She hasn’t topped the charts since 2008.

  However, Beyoncé has finally returned to top of the chart, thanks to their newly-recorded ‘Perfect’ duet with Sheeren. Their remix has taken the lead from Post Malone’s Rockstar and moving Camila Cabello’s ‘Havana’ to no. 3.

  Sheeran previously lead the chart of a total of 12 weeks with his single ‘Shape of You’, meanwhile, it’s Beyoncé first since ‘Single Ladies’ in 2008.
