Beyonce releases surprise single ‘Black Parade’

• Pop star Beyoncé has dropped a surprise single entitled “Black Parade” in support on the on-going racial protest in the United States, June 19, Friday.

  In a day usually called “Juneteenth,” the singer invited listeners to follow her parade. “I’m going back to the South, I’m going back where my roots ain’t watered down,” Beyoncé sings in the opening.

  “Happy Juneteenth. Being Black is your activism. Black excellence is a form of protest. Black joy is your right,” the message of the song added.

  Demanding the justice for the African-American George Floyd, Beyoncé said “We’re broken and we’re disgusted. We cannot normalize this pain.”
