Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ goes platinum

Beyoncé’s latest album ‘Lemonade’ is now a certified platinum album after its sales reached over one million in the U.S. according to Billboard.com.
‘Lemonade’ is the diva’s sixth million-selling album after earning a total of 1.051 million album sales in the U.S. alone.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced the platinum recognition of Beyoncé’s Lemonade on its Twitter account. RIAA also pointed out that all of Queen Bey’s studio albums are platinum or multi-platinum certified.

Her 2003 solo debut album, ‘Dangerously in Love’ is her biggest selling album with 5 million album sales sold in the U.S. Overall, her solo album sales stand at 17.3 million copies.
