Billboard announces 2021 music awards’ date

  Dick Clark Productions and NBC have announced the date when 2021 Billboard Music Awards will be aired, January 25, Monday.

  The BBMA 2021 will be aired live on May 23, Sunday at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT on NBC.

  Due to pandemic, the BBMA 2020 was postponed from its usual schedule and held last October 14 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles without a live audience.

  Billboard Music Awards nominees and winners are based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital song sales, radio airplay, social engagement, streaming, and tours, which were tracked by Billboard and its data partners, including MRC Data.
