  • American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish has revealed that she had a breakthrough infection of COVID-19 in August of this year, December 13, Monday.

Eilish’s diagnosis of the virus came after she debuted her latest album titled, ‘Happier than Ever,’ in late July. She also admitted that she is still experiencing long-term COVID symptoms, a condition where a patient continues to experience the effects of being infected even after recovery.

“I didn’t die, and I wasn’t gonna die, but that does not take away from how miserable it was. It was terrible. I still have side effects. I was sick for, like, two months almost.” Eilish said on SiriusXM’s ‘The Howard Stern Show.’

“I think if I weren’t vaccinated, I would have died, because it was bad,” Eilish narrated. “When I say it was bad, I more just mean that it felt horrible. But really, in the scheme of COVID, it was not bad. You know what I mean? When you’re sick, you feel f–king horrible,” she added.

Recently, Billie Eilish has been nominated seven Grammy Awards for her newest album, including the ‘Record of the Year’ category.
