Lisa of the South Korean super group BLΛƆKPIИK has tested positive for COVID-19, her agency confirmed, November 24, Wednesday.
In a published statement on the Korean entertainment news outlet Soompi, YG Entertainment announced Lisa had contracted the virus. “We first shared this information quickly and accurately with representatives and staff, and we took strong preemptive measures even beyond the guidelines of health authorities,” the agency said.
BLΛƆKPIИK members Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé were not identified as close contacts but they have underwent COVID-19 PCR tests and currently waiting for results.
“We will continue to not hold back on providing full support with the health of our artists and related staff members as the top priority. If there are any changes in the future, we will once again notify you quickly,” YG added.
