BLΛƆKPIИK’s Rosé sets two Guinness World Records with solo track

Rosé of the Korean pop group BLΛƆKPIИK, has once again made history by setting two Guinness World Records with her recent solo release, April 12, Monday.
The title of the song is ‘On the Ground,’ from the first solo EP entitled ‘R,’ which was released in March, was the source of the singer’s records.
The track was certified as the most-watched YouTube music video by a solo K-pop artist within 24 hours after its release. It has 41.6 million views. Previously, it was Psy’s hit ‘Gangnam Style’ with 36 million views in 2012.
Rose was also certified as the first artist to reach the top of the Billboard Global chart for both as a solo artist and a group act, the Guinness said in website.
Reports said Rosé reached No. 1 on both the Global Billboard 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US with “On the Ground” on March 27 after topping the Global Excl. US chart with BLACKPINK’s “Lovesick Girls” in 2020.
