Pop star Britney Spears has filed a petition to a court preventing her father to reassert control over her life and career, August 18, Tuesday.
“Britney is strongly opposed to James return as conservator of her person,” the document says. Filed by her lawyer, Spears is subsequently requesting that her father, James, should not return to its conservator role, that gave power over her life and career decisions from 2008 to 2019.
As conservator, James Spears has the sole power over life, money and career of her daughter, most especially when the time his co-conservator, attorney Andrew Wallet resigned his role last year.
The documents also revealed that Britney Spears has no plans of having any show anytime soon.
