  • The three live concerts of the Korean supergroup BTS have attracted more than 2.46 million fans across the globe, both online and offline, March 13, Sunday.

Held at the Seoul Olympic Stadium on March 10, 12, and 13, the ‘BTS Permission To Dance On Stage – Seoul’ had drew a total of 45,000 live audiences and watched by 1,020,000 and 1.4 million fans online and at theaters, Big Hit agency declared.

The second night of concerts was reportedly amassed more than $32 million from 3,711 theaters in 75 countries around the world. US-based market research firm Comscore senior media analyst Paul Dergarabedian called the figures as ‘astonishing’ and ‘unprecedented.’

The number 1.4 million is a record high for any non-film content shown at theaters around the world, Big Hit agency added.

“It’s a testament to both the overwhelmingly dedicated fandom of the ARMY and the overall return to cinemas on a global scale,” North American distributer Trafalgar Releasing CEO Marc Allenby said in a statement.
